Dr. Ottenbacher joined the Lake Region Healthcare Affiliate Medical Staff in 2010.
Originally from Lisbon, ND, Dr. Ottenbacher attended North Dakota State University, Fargo, ND, where she received her BS in zoology, with a minor in chemistry. She earned her Doctor of Optometry at Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago, IL.
Her clinical experiences consisted of working at LCA Vision - Lasik Plus in Edina, MN, where she co-mananged patients who had undergone refractive eye surgery and Illinois Eye Institute, Chicago, IL, where she examined and treated low vision, contact lens and anterior segment cases.
At the Dayton Veterans Affairs Medical Center, in Dayton, OH, she treated veterans who had advanced ocular diseases, and at the Vision Enhancement Clinic, Springfield, MO, she worked with children through ocular examinations and vision therapy.
Dr. Ottenbacher is a member of the American Optometric Association and the Minnesota Optometric Association.
Dr. Ottenbacher and her husband, Craig, reside in Fergus Falls.
