Dr. Bruce Carlisle joined the Lake Region Healthcare Medical Staff in 2008.
Originally from Valley City, North Dakota, Dr. Carlisle received his BA in Philosophy from the University of North Dakota in Grand Forks. He received his Doctor of Medicine from the University of North Dakota where he also completed his residency in Internal Medicine.
Dr. Carlisle began his career in solo practice in Fargo, ND, which with the addition of several physicians became Internal Medicine Associates of Fargo. Before joining Lake Region Healthcare, Dr. Carlisle worked for Lakes National Emergency Physicians, Inc., often staffing the Emergency Department at Lake Region Healthcare.
Dr. Carlisle is certified in Acute Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Acute Trauma Life Support (ATLS). He is also an Associate Clinical Professor at the University of North Dakota.
Dr. Carlisle and his wife, Nan, have four grown children.
