Lake Region Healthcare welcomed Dr. Naomi Schmid, Podiatrist, to our medical staff in 2013.
Dr. Schmid received her Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine in 2010 at Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine in Chicago, IL. She completed post-graduate residency and served as Chief Resident of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery with Reconstructive Rearfoot/Ankle Surgery Credentials at the Providence Hospital & Health Center in Southfield, MI.
Dr. Naomi Schmid is joined by her husband, Dr. Stephen Schmid in offering a full spectrum of Podiatry services at Lake Region Healthcare. As a team they offer comprehensive treatment of forefoot, rear foot, and ankle problems as well as reconstructive surgery.
She is a member of the American Society of Podiatric Surgeons, the American College of Foot & Ankle Surgeons, and the American Podiatric Medical Association. She is also Board Certified with the American Board of Podiatric Medicine (ABPM).
Originally from Montana, Naomi now feels at home at Lake Region Healthcare and its small town community. She and Steve are closer to family in Minnesota and are enjoying establishing their family here. In her spare time, she enjoys gardening, reading and baking.
