Open House Celebration will be held Sunday, January 10th from 1 to 3pm
(FERGUS FALLS, Minn.) Lake Region Healthcare invites community members to help celebrate the opening of their new Main Clinic in Fergus Falls at an open house on Sunday, January 10th from 1 to 3pm. The clinic is located at 111 West Vernon in Fergus Falls.
“Now that we’ve been open for a few weeks and the holidays are behind us, it’s time to celebrate this milestone event,” said Larry Schulz, LRH CEO. “It truly is a clinic designed by and for this community and it’s important that we pause and celebrate what this means for health care in our area,” he added. The clinic is a replacement for the existing main clinic which will be demolished to complete the final phase of the project and add more parking this coming spring.
“The participation, input and cooperation from our staff, physicians, board, neighbors, city leaders and project planners & contractors has been nothing short of fabulous throughout this entire project and it has paid off,” Schulz said. “We have a beautiful welcoming, accessible, state-of-the-art facility designed to provide for the health care needs of the community for the next 30+ years.”
Tours will be offered during the open house along with refreshments and a short program & ribbon cutting ceremony scheduled for 2:00pm. Schulz said tours will highlight some of the technology and amenities built into the clinic design.
“We are very fortunate to have the quality healthcare we do at LRH, with over 80 medical providers and recent extensive growth in specialties such as cardiology and pulmonology,” said Board Building Task Force Chairperson, John Erickson. “We also provide over 900 jobs as the community’s largest employer. This project was designed to help us keep up with the changes in healthcare and remain a competitive and independent health care organization that makes decisions locally for the best interest of the community,” he added. “We appreciate the community’s support and look forward to hosting them during this open house on the 10th.”
