Levran and Barnes to speak at special session on Prostate Cancer January 25th
(FERGUS FALLS, Minn.) A special session on Prostate Health will be held at the Cancer Care & Research Center on Monday, January 25th from 5 to 7pm and will feature Dr. Zvi Levran and Dr. Marge Barnes.
Dr. Zvi Levran, Urologist at Lake Region Healthcare will begin the evening session with a look at Erectile Dysfunction in the Era of Prostate Cancer. “There is hope out there,” Levran said. “It’s important to talk about this candidly and understand the issues and the options,” he added. Dr. Marge Barnes, Radiation Oncologist will also speak, focusing on the topic of Prostate Cancer Screening and Treatments. “I’ll talk about who should & shouldn’t be screened, the role that genetics plays and the newest drugs available,” Barnes said. “This information is valuable to men of all ages and also to the women who are their partners in health care decisions,” she said.
A demonstration on Prostate Imaging will be given by the Cancer Center’s radiation oncology staff and other resources and time for Q&A will also be available. Refreshments will be served.
