Casual position available with the Speech Therapy department. Day shift.
To function as a Speech/Language Pathologist and is qualified to evaluate and treat patients with communication, swallowing and cognitive-linguistic disorders.
A Master’s Degree in Speech/Language Pathology from a college or university. Two years experience of work placement in a related setting preferred. Completion of a Certificate of Clinical Competence from ASHA preferred; alternatively would consider Clinical Fellowship Year applicant. The Speech Pathologist must be licensed as a Speech/Language Pathologist in the state of Minnesota. The employee must be able to work independently, but in full cooperation with other staff and the administration in performing job function. This position also requires current Healthcare Provider level CPR certification upon hire or must be obtained within 6 months.
