80 hours per two-week pay period available with the Materials Management department. Day shifts.The purpose of this position is to maintain supply levels in designated departments, to keep accurate records of patient charges and equipment and to ensure that JCAHO and other relevant standards are met. The stock levels in Supply Distribution must be properly maintained in order to pick and deliver supplies to required area. The Supply Distribution Assistant will have contact with nearly all hospital departments, employees, department managers, and some clinic staff. Effective interpersonal and communication skills are essential for this position.
High school graduate or equivalent degree preferred. Nursing Assistant experience preferred. Two years experience in hospital products or distribution operations desirable.
