48 hours per two-week pay period available within the hospital in Elbow Lake. Varying 12 hour shifts, weekends and rotating holidays.
The purpose of this position is to provide nursing care to patients. The framework for practice will be the nursing process. The LPN has contact with patients, patient families and visitors, PRHHS’ employees, referral agencies, volunteers, administration, and physicians/providers. Effective interpersonal and communication skills are essential for this position. The LPN must be able to provide patient care, secure cooperation from others, problem-solve, and exercise initiative and judgment.
Must be a graduate of a school of practical nursing with current licensure in Minnesota, BLS certification. Willingness to be certified in ACLS and TNCC within the first year of employment.
