80 hours per two-week pay period available in the Computer Information Systems department
This position has overall responsibility for network and server administration. Develops, plans and implements the overall strategic goals of organization's IT systems. Evaluates and recommends changes to IT infrastructure to meet current and future organizational needs.
This position will be responsible to provide coverage for the Computer Information Systems Director for reasons of vacations, staff training, illness, sick leaves, and leave of absence. This position responsibility may be performed during the absence of the Computer Information Systems Director, therefore, the employee must be able to work independently to meet and maintain an acceptable standard of performance. Is responsible for the selection and supervision of IT Technicians including training, quality reviews, as well as appraisals, competencies, and hospital disciplinary process.
An associates degree in Computer Science with classes in hardware, software, and networking is preferred. The individual must have two years of progressive computer and network systems experience. Must possess strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively. Must be highly analytical; have excellent problem solving abilities; sound judgement; initiative; and be able to make presentations to departmental staff. Requires a high degree of mental alertness, comprehension, time management, and the ability to cope with resolving information and system problems.
