24 hours per two-week pay period with the Hoffman Clinic. Day shift.
Responsible for providing efficient patient flow in accordance with PRHHS policies, procedures, overall direction and goals on an ongoing, daily basis. Maintain accurate demographics while ensuring patient and provider satisfaction. Forwarding, providing information, and otherwise processing overflow of incoming calls as required. Must maintain patient confidentiality and insure accuracy, completeness, and the correctness of all oral or written information. Will work in a high-visibility, high pressure position requiring a very professional manner and attitude. Must maintain good relationships with the public, patients, medical staff, and hospital employees.
High school or equivalent level of education required. Must be able to communicate effectively in English for both oral and written communication. Must be able to operate at a high level of efficiency; personal computers, switchboard consoles, copy machines, calculators, fax machines and paging systems. Adequate computer/keyboarding skills a must.
