Full-time position available with the Revenue Cycle department. Day shift.
The purpose of this position is to successfully bill patient accounts to the appropriate insurance company for payment, reconcile insurance payments and denials, follow up with insurance companies as needed, receive and resolve patient and insurance company phone calls regarding patient accounts.
Established expertise in related revenue cycle functions such as medical billing, patient financial services, registration and charge coding. Ability to analyze patient accounts and determine status and required actions. Ability to communicate effectively in oral and written forms and build strong relationships with related functions and departments. Working knowledge of related system applications, spreadsheets and word processing software. Ability to provide outstanding customer service. Diplomacy skills to bridge involved issues and priorities across functional boundaries.
