Dr. Erin Peterson joined the Lake Region Healthcare team of professionals in September 2012.
Dr. Peterson grew up on a farm outside of Ashby, MN, graduating from Ashby High School. She graduated summa cum laude from the University of Minnesota Duluth with a B.S. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology and B.A. in Chemistry. She obtained her Doctor of Medicine from the University of Minnesota Medical School, Duluth, after spending her 3rd year in the Rural Physician’s Associate Program (RPAP) at Lake Region Healthcare in Fergus Falls. She completed her Internal Medicine residency at Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis, MN. Dr. Peterson is a member of the College of Physicians.
Dr. Peterson has regular hours at both the Ashby Clinic and at the Fergus Falls Main Clinic.
Dr. Peterson and her husband, Justin Eberhardt, have one son. They enjoy traveling, camping, hiking, and reading.
