(FERGUS FALLS, Minn.) – Nutrition for cancer care will be the theme of the January session in the Cancer Center Educational Series. The public is invited to attend this session on Monday, January 12th from 5 to 6:30pm at the Cancer Center Conference Room.
The session will include an interactive discussion with Dr. Glen Hyland who is board certified in Radiation Oncology and Holistic Medicine. Dr. Hyland resides in Bismarck North Dakota. His career began following completion of medical school at Northwestern School of Medicine and University of Minnesota Medical School, and a fellowship at Mayo Clinic Radiation Oncology.
Dr. Hyland will define nutrition, the importance of nutrients needed to be healthy, and potential concerns related to maintaining viable nutritional status during standard treatment. Everyone is welcome.
