LRH Diabetes Educators Offer Free Seminar on Insulin Therapy November 24th

(FERGUS FALLS, Minn.) – In recognition of national Diabetes Awareness Month, Lake Region Healthcare’s (LRH) Diabetes Educators are partnering with Medtronic to offer a free seminar on Insulin Therapy, including Insulin Pumps, on Tuesday, November 24th at the LRH Cancer Care & Resource Center Conference Room.

According to Kayla Wagner, LRH Diabetes Educator, “Anyone on insulin who takes multiple injections per day is a potential candidate for an insulin pump. This session will not only help answer questions about the use of insulin pumps but also help to understand the complexities of Insulin Therapy.”

The informational session is free and open to the public. In order to appropriately plan for the free meal provided, an RSVP is requested by calling 218.739.6648. The session will begin at 5:30 pm on Tuesday, November 24th in the Cancer Care & Research Center Conference Room at 908 South Cascade Street in Fergus Falls.
