Faber & Stoll to speak on Insurance & Social Security at Cancer Center Educational Series October 12 Session

(FERGUS FALLS, Minn.) – Lake Region Healthcare’s Cancer Care & Research Center (LRH CCRC) is pleased to announce Jean Faber and Tonya Stoll will be the featured speakers at the October Educational Series on the topic of finance & insurance resources. The session will be held at 5:00 on Monday, October 12th in the Cancer Center’s Conference Room.

Jean Faber, Medicare Specialist at Midstate Insurance Services, has been working with MNSure since it opened in 2013. Midstate Insurance Services, Inc is part of the Broker Enrollment Center Initiative and Jean is one of the 12 broker board members serving on the MN Sure Broker Stakeholders board. She has extensive experience enrolling patients in MA, MN Care, APTC and QHP as well as the Affordable Care Act open enrollment process.

Tonya Stoll is an Independent Living Advocate at Freedom Resource Center (FRC) in Fergus Falls. FRC offers advocacy services, information and referrals. She will help explain when and how Social Security can help people maintain financial self-sufficiency. 

The educational forums are held the second Monday of each month in the Cancer Care & Research Center Conference Room.  Each month, knowledgeable professionals present on such topics as trends in cancer treatment and research, financial resources, survivorship, preplanning, healthcare directives, community resources, wellness, nutrition, and much more.
