Red Horse Ranch to give portion of ticket sales on Aug. 15th to Cancer Care & Research Center
(FERGUS FALLS, Minn.) – The Lake Region Healthcare (LRH) Foundation will host the PRCA Rodeo “Tough Enough to Wear Pink” night on Sat., Aug. 15th at Red Horse Ranch in Fergus Falls. Red Horse Ranch will donate $2 from every ticket sold for Aug. 15th to the LRH Cancer Care & Research Center.
“We look forward to partnering with Red Horse Ranch for ‘Tough Enough to Wear Pink’ night again this year,” said Larry Schulz, CEO of LRH, said. “While we treat more than breast cancer at the Cancer Care & Research Center, we understand the power of pink and we appreciate Wrangler’s partnership with PRCA to help raise money for improved cancer care and research in our community,” Schulz added.
The LRH Foundation will be hosting additional activities and fundraisers throughout the rodeo with a “Rosie the Riveter” theme. The famous Underwood Lions pork chops, unique t-shirts & bandannas and a photo booth by “Strike a Pose will all be part of the fundraising events.
Back by popular demand to kick-off to the rodeo on Saturday night will be a pink balloon release of environmentally friendly, biodegradable balloons. Balloons for the release can be purchased at the hospital gift shop, the Cancer Care & Research Center, The Market on Union Avenue, or by emailing Foundation@lrhc.org. The suggested donation is $3 for a balloon to be released in honor or in memory of loved ones affected by cancer.
“This is a great event for the entire family and we hope to see everyone out in their pink gear showing their support for a great cause,” Schulz added.
