(FERGUS FALLS, Minn.) Practical tips to help people eat right and incorporate more physical activity into their schedule will be offered at the Cancer Center’s May education series on Monday, May 11th.
“This session will be valuable for anyone who’d like nutrition tips or to learn simple ways to move more through regular daily activities,” said Echo Breen, Administrator at the Cancer Care & Research Center. “But it will be especially geared toward learning more about how integrating fresh produce into your diet and more physical activity into daily life can impact both physical and emotional well-being” she added.
The session begins at 5:00pm with light refreshments and will be followed with presentations and Q&A with Jason Bergstrand from the Lake Region Takes Root Community Garden and with wellness coaches Natalie Knutson and Karoline Gustafson from the Lake Region Healthcare Health & Wellness Hub.
