(Fergus Falls & Elbow Lake, Minn.) – Lake Region Healthcare (LRH) together with Prairie Ridge Hospital and Health Services (PRHHS) is pleased to announce the addition of Lawrence Blue to its leadership team.
Blue has over 17 years of healthcare experience, most recently as Chief Executive Officer for Cavalier County Memorial Hospital in Langdon, ND where he has served since 2003. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing and a Master of Science in Health Administration, both from the University of North Dakota in Grand Forks. He sits on the North Region Healthcare Alliance Board of Directors and serves as Chairman of the Board. He is an active member of the American College of Healthcare Executives and is Board Certified in Healthcare Management as a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives.
“Lawrence has a passion for rural healthcare and we believe his experience and relationship building skills will be a great asset for PRHHS,” said Shawn Larsen, Chairman of the Board at PRHHS. “He has the kind of experience and energy needed in rural healthcare systems today and we are pleased to have him joining our team,” added Larry Schulz, LRH CEO. LRH and PRHHS integrated at the beginning of 2015.

Lawrence and his wife Tracey have two children. He will assume the role of PRHHS CEO on November 16th.
