(Fergus Falls, MN) Lake Region Healthcare (LRH) is pleased to announce Lucia Anderson, MBA, BSN, RN, has been named Chief Operating Officer in addition to her role as Chief Nursing Officer for the organization.
Anderson has served as the Senior VP – Operations/Chief Nurse Executive since 2011 and has been a member of the LRH team since 1999. She has served as an LPN and RN on the medical floor, RN in obstetrics, house supervisor, and Director of OB. Anderson is a certified nurse in in-patient obstetrics. She received the LPN degree from Fergus Falls Community College, her BSN from Minnesota State University, Moorhead and her MBA from the University of St. Thomas.
“Lucia has demonstrated the leadership qualities needed to manage the operational systems at LRH. Her experience in patient care, quality improvement, and systems development are a great fit for the operational leadership needed within our executive team at this time,” said Larry Schulz, CEO.
