The Lake Region Hospital Foundation is pleased to announce that grant applications are now being accepted until June 15, 2013. Grant applications and grant criteria can be found at: www.lrhc.org under the Foundation link.
In 2012, the Lake Region Hospital Foundation Board of Directors awarded over $60,000 in grants for health related programs and projects benefiting individuals in the Lake Region Healthcare’s service area. The Foundation awarded money to support such projects as the Cancer Center’s new Transportation program, automatic defibrillators for the Fergus Falls Police Department, and development of a new Occupational Therapy Driver Rehabilitation program.
The communities surrounding Lake Region Healthcare have been supporting the Fergus Falls Hospital since it’s inception in 1903. Health care is critical to our community, donating to the work of the Foundation strengthens the community. Gifts, whether outright or deferred, will help ensure quality health care for generations to come.
