Lake Region Healthcare Foundation Announces Opening of 2015-16 Grant Filing Period

Grant applications will be accepted through June 15th

(FERGUS FALLS, Minn.) – The Lake Region Hospital Foundation is pleased to announce that grant applications are now being accepted until June 15, 2015. Grant applications and grant criteria can be found at: www.lrhc.org under the Foundation link.

In 2014-15, the Lake Region Hospital Foundation Board of Directors awarded over $100,000 in grants for health related programs and projects benefiting individuals in the Lake Region Healthcare’s service area. The Foundation awarded money to support such projects as the M State Medical Lab Technician Program, Lake Region Takes Root Community Garden, Pediatric Therapy equipment, the community Suicide Prevention & Awareness program, and the American Red Cross/Lake Region Healthcare courier partnership program.

The communities surrounding Lake Region Healthcare have been supporting the Fergus Falls Hospital since its inception in 1903.  Health care is critical to our community and donating to the work of the Foundation strengthens the community. Gifts, whether outright or deferred, will help ensure quality health care for generations to come.
