Description:
The purpose of this position is to assure implementation of quality Occupational Therapy services to Lake Region Healthcare patients. This position reports to the Occupational Therapy Department Director. The Registered Occupational Therapist has contact with all hospital service areas, physicians, volunteers, prospective employees, student training facilities, and community organizations and individuals. Effective interpersonal and communication skills are essential for this position. The incumbent has access to sensitive, confidential information and must be able to maintain those confidences. The incumbent establishes the work procedures and priorities within imposed deadlines.
Must be licensed to practice in the state of Minnesota by the Minnesota Department of Health and Registered with the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy, Inc., or will become registered within the first 6 months of employment.
