This position is responsible or the overall installation, configuration and operation of Electronic Health Records and supporting systems. This includes, but is not limited to, system build, design and test; end user training; overall system integrity; system upgrades; continual monitoring and maintenance of client workstations; server and database maintenance; and system security.
This employee takes part in organization wide workflow analysis and improvement efforts, noth clinical and non-clinical. This position is responsible for understanding and applying EHR and supporting system technology to support and enhance these analysis and improvement efforts.
The employee will have contact with other hospital employees when system problems arise and will be responsible to assist them in the resolution as is necessary for continued quality operation of the system.
The employee will be responsible for providing support by collecting and analyzing data and reporting results. This position will collaborate with various other departments to develop reports to improve workflows, achieve business results, and meet various state and national reporting requirements.
The Data Analyst will be responsible for the technical administration of LRH's database servers, including, but not limited to, installation, upgrades, backup and recovery.
A Bachelor's Degree with classes in hardware and applications, operating systems software, and database creation and maintenance is preferred. Software programming knowledge is desirable. An individual with a minimum of five years of progressive computer and software systems experience may be substituted for degree requirements. Must possess strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively. Must be highly analytical; have excellent problem solving abilities; sound judgment; initiative; and be able to make presentations to departmental staff and leadership.
