The purpose of this position is to ensure quality and safe delivery of home care services within our assisted living community; to coordinate personal care and health-related services that reflects Mill Street Residence’s philosophy and standards; to assist with the planning and review of our assisted living program.
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required. Current RN licensure and registration with the MN State Board of Nursing. Minimum of three to five years progressively responsible management experience in a health care or related field demonstrating leadership expertise. Demonstrated knowledge regarding home health care and/or public health nursing and current business management practices preferred.
Should possess good intervention techniques, effective communication skills with groups and individuals, problem solving and decision making capabilities, and the ability to solicit cooperation. Must have the ability to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing. Ability to communicate effectively in dealing with patients, families, nursing staff, and other health professionals. Patience, tact, enthusiasm and a positive attitude towards the elderly is essential.
