80 hours per two-week pay period with Clinic Services in Barnesville. This position is responsible for manual data abstraction from hybrid patient medical records and pre-populating the Allscripts Enterprise Electronic Health Record (EHR). The purpose for pre-population of the EHR will be to facilitate a faster, more accurate and meaningful “first” visit for the patient and provider therefore presenting the new patient medical documentation system and processes in a more satisfying manner to patients and providers. This position requires critical thinking skills pertaining to medical diagnoses and ancillary services (lab, radiology). This position requires data gathering and data entry in all or some of the following: Past Medical History, Family History, Social History, Allergies, Medication History, and Immunization History.
Medical Transcriptionist OR Medical Assistant OR MN LPN licensure OR MN RN licensure, experience in the medical field preferred (2-3 years). Requires medical terminology, spelling, ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing, and ability to operate a computer.
