The Director of CCRC will direct, plan, market, and implement the oncology service line with direct responsibility for the hospital-employed staff of the Cancer Center and indirect liaison relationships to the Lake Region Medical Group (LRMG) for infusion and supportive care services and Radiation Therapy Joint Venture manager (RTJV) for radiation oncology services in conjunction with the designated Cancer Program/Medical Director. This includes the functions of psycho social services, cancer screening programs, the cancer committee, tumor registry, research program, and liaison/collaborative responsibility to radiation therapy and medical oncology.
Requires a Bachelor's degree in a health related field or business discipline with at least five years of demonstrated management and/or administrative experience in providing health care services, preferably oncology related. Knowledge of health programs, clinic/hospital systems, program development and budgets, product line management, research procedures, and general medical facility operations is required. The successful candidate must possess outstanding communication skills, both oral and written, in order to provide effective leadership to the management staff of the center. He/she must be an innovative self-starter that can effectively meet goals and objectives through others, can organize and analyze information, and can direct the problem-solving process to resolution. One to three years oncology experience required.
