To provide services to all areas of the building including utilities, life safety, security, hazardous surveillance, equipment, emergency preparedness, for patients, visitors, and employees. Responsible for supplying heat, water, electricity, air conditioning, and all necessary services to ensure operations of all departments. Responsible for performing maintenance and repair of buildings and grounds. Responsible for maintaining all necessary records to comply with all inspecting agencies and codes, using the utilities, life safety, security, hazardous communication, and emergency preparedness management guidelines. The Engineers will have contact with other hospital employees, patients, and visitors, and must be able to communicate effectively.
Must have a First Class Grade “B” engineer license from the state of Minnesota with three years experience in building maintenance.
