Cancer Center Educational Series

Patient education plays a major role in empowering patients and families with cancer. That’s why Lake Region Healthcare’s Cancer Care & Research Center (LRHCCRC) has developed an opportunity for patients and families to participate in an educational series to help people understand the disease, treatment, side effect management and other information to improve quality of life during treatment & beyond.

The educational forums will be held the second Monday of each month in the Cancer Care & Research Center Conference Room.  Knowledgeable professionals will be presenting on such topics as trends in cancer treatment and research, financial resources, celebrating life, survivorship, preplanning, healthcare directives, community resources, wellness, nutrition, and much more.
